Patricia is Portuguese and lives, works and studies in Amsterdam.
She applied to the Rietveld Academie in 2005, did the basic year and studies now in the Fashion Design department.
In 2003 she arrived to Holland, found a job to take care of a disable boy (charge syndrome), and started to do bags and accessories for shops with the label PG. After some time her products where sold in Amsterdam, Lisbon, Leiria, Milan and Madrid and some of her works were published in the fashion pages of ELLE girl magazine (winter/fall 2003/2004) and in the pages of LOOK!, a Japanese fashion magazine with a special supplement about shopping in Amsterdam.
In 2004 she participated in P///AKT SALON, a collective exhibition, in KUNSTVLAAI 5 with works presented in
KI-OSK daily art supply, and in a window project for LA MAISON DE BONNETERRIE to promote the new image of the shop. At the same time she started collaborating with the musicians LAURENT&LEWIS (www.laurentetlewis.com) doing the costumes and set design for some of their concerts.
Now Patricia his busy with her studies and her job, the same boy the meet when she arrived.
As her background in Portugal, she studied Social Communication in the University of Beira Interior and worked as a radio journalist and public relations of a comic books publisher among others.
